Great Britain Line Engraved 1841-53 One Penny Red-Brown Black Plates Plate 2, RE-SE, vertical pair, tied to entire originating from Pernambuco (28 Sept. 1841) addressed to Saddleworth, carried privately to Liverpool where the 1d.´s were applied and cancelled by black Maltese Crosses, on reverse Liverpool and Manchester datestamps of 9 Nov. 1841, SE a little cut into and both crossed by a horizontal filing fold, scarce.
