Great Britain Line Engraved 1840 Two Pence Blue Plate 1 CH-CJ horizontal strip of three, CK-CL horizontal pair (CK constant variety) and DH-DL horizontal strip of five, generally touched or cut into at top but with good to large margins other sides, CJ showing portion of the adjoining stamp at foot, cancelled by black Maltese Cross cancellations on entire dated 11 Nov. 1841 addressed to Paris, endorsed "Paid 1/8" (under the strip of five), red "P.D." in oval and Angl. Calais datestamp on the front; despite a few small cover faults a most spectacular and very rare franking. Photo Estimate £ 8,000-10,000
