Great Britain 1840 One Penny Black Plate VIII Plate VIII EG and EI, used with 1840 2d. blue, Plate 2 TG on entire dated 1841 (21 Feb.) from Gosport to London, black Maltese Cross cancellations, despatch and arrival datestamps on reverse; EG slightly defective at upper-left, and the others touched at places, however, this hardly detracts from the fine appearance of this extremely rare combination of the 1840 1d. and 2d.
