Great Britain Line Engraved 1840 One Penny Black Plate VII AB, close to large margins all round, tied to entire dated 22 Nov. 1840 addressed to London by a superb strike of the rare Wotton under Edge Maltese Cross in red and with datestamp on reverse (just slightly crossing flap) in the same colour; the entire with filing fold well clear of the adhesive, very fine.
