Hong Kong 1862 1864 (26 June) entire letter from A.J. Heard to the company in Boston "Via Marseilles per Messageries Imperiales" bearing no watermark 48c. pale rose (first printing) with 1863-71 6c. lilac tied by "B62" in blue with "1" in red crayon, London Paid (8.8) and "boston am. pkt./paid" c.d.s. plus "21/cents" accountancy handstamp, all in red, the reverse with Hong Kong despatch c.d.s. in blue and a part strike of the Augustine Heard forwarding agents cachet.
