x Ionian Islands Corfu 1850 (24 Oct.) disinfected entire letter from Genoa to Corfu with despatch c.d.s. and "dopo la/patenza" (Too Late) marking in red, hooded Corfu arrival datestamp on reverse and struck with outstanding (and very rare) "d / 5 / 3-8" rate marking in blue (unlisted-in private correspondence between G. Todd and James Van Der Linden, just three other covers have been recorded with this rate mark struck in blue and black). Fine and rare. Photo Estimate £ 300-350
