x France Ballon Monté No. 33 ´Le Ville D´Orleans´ 1870 (22 Nov.), Gazette Des Absents No. 9, complete used example to Gand, Belgium franked by 1867 30c. brown with Gand arrival on reverse. The Ballon eventually crashed landed in the sea off Norway, this being the furthest distance covered by a Ballon Monte (1,450 km.).
