Mauritius 1855-1953 mint and used collection in a stockbook, including 1855 1d. (5), 1859 Lapirot worn impression 2d. (6) and 1859 Dardenne 1d. (3) and 2d. (5 with a pair, one stamp in the pair and one single showing variety retouch below "two"), all used, a few Britannias, 1860-63 values to 1/- with 1/- buff mint, 1863-72 values to 5/- with 6d. dull violet, 9d. blue-green (apparently imperforate) and 9d. yellow-green unused, later Q.V. and 20th. Century issues to 10r. with some sets, a few overprinted "specimen"; the earlier issues in very mixed condition with some defective, the later issues of generally good to fine appearance Estimate £ 1,000-1,200
