Barbados 1868 (10 July) Officer´s envelope ex the Poole correspondence to England, bearing 18761-70 6d. bright orange-vermilion clearly cancelled "1" and countersigned by Staff Surgeon Major Poole, the reverse with despatch and arrival (29.7) c.d.s.; the envelope with a few small faults though rare and the earliest known cover signed by Poole himself.
