Warren. 19/R.W.Fus.), extremely fine Estimate £ 280-320 M.M. London Gazette 13.3.1918 38700 Pte. W. Warren 19th Bn. R.W. Fus.(Cardiff) 38700 Private Walter Warren, M.M., born Roath, Cardiff; served during the Great War with the Welsh Regiment (no. 11676) in the Gallipoli Theatre of War, from 27.6.1915; transferred to 19th Battalion Royal Welsh Fusiliers on the Western Front, with whom he won his M.M., before transferring to 13th (Service) Battalion (1st North Wales) Royal Welsh Fusiliers; Warren was killed in action on the Western Front, 22.4.1918, and is buried in Bouzincourt Ridge Cemetery, Albert, France.
