Indian Mutiny 1857-58, no clasp (Captn. G.L. Knight, 64th. Regt.), good very fine, with a contemporary top silver riband bar; and a fine quality related miniature award, with top riband buckle Estimate £ 350-400 Captain Godfrey Lyon Knight, Commissioned Ensign, 64th (2nd Staffordshire) Foot, February 1845; Lieutenant, March 1848; served during the Persian Campaign 1856-57, and present at the bombardment and capture of Mohammerrah, 26.3.1857; Captain November 1857; served in Bengal and the North West Provinces during the Indian Mutiny; present in the operations at Cawnpore under General Windham, the defence of Cawnpore and the defeat of the Gwalior mutineers, and the action at Kala Nuddee, 1857-58; transferred to the 19th (1st Yorkshire North Riding) Foot, 1861; retired 1863.
