K.R.Rif.C.), extremely fine, in named card boxes of issue with two Record Office, Winchester, enclosures; Great War Bronze Memorial Plaque (Alfred John Court) and Parchment Memorial Scroll, in tube of issue, addressed to ´Mr. C.J. Court, 14 Palmerston Road, Southfields, Wandsworth´, with Buckingham Palace enclosure; and a letter written to the recipient´s sister, dated 25.7.1916, informing her of her brother´s death (3) Estimate £ 130-160 11451 Rifleman Alfred John Court, 2nd Battalion, King´´s Royal Rifle Corps, died from the effects of gas 16.7.1916, and is buried in Heilly Station Cemetery, Mericourt-L´´Abbe, France.
