Anglesey, Parys Mines Co., pattern Halfpenny in tin, 1788, druid´s bust to left, rev. monogram cypher PMCo (DH.269), scuffed and with many small blisters of corrosion each side, otherwise nearly extremely fine, a little lustrous, the edge inscription mostly flat, extremely rare Estimate £ 200-250 PROVENANCE: Spooner, Glendining, 5-6 October 1921, lot 145 (part) Miss Spooner was a descendant of George Barker, issuer of private tokens in Birmingham (see DH. Warwickshire 15-19 and 64-69)
