Cornwall/Lanarkshire, mule Halfpenny, 1791, arms of the Duchy of Cornwall, rev. river god with oar bearing St Andrew´s arms, leaning on urn issuing water, edge plain (DH.—), nearly extremely fine, bronzed, unrecorded in this die-pairing and probably unique Estimate £ 350-450 PROVENANCE: Bought 1930 A mule of the reverse of DH. Cornwall 2 and Lanarkshire 2, from Matthew Boulton´´s Soho mint. From dies in good condition; if not struck in 1791, it would surely have been not long afterwards
