Regt.), engraved in running script, minor edge bruising, very fine or better (2) Estimate £ 600-650 Lieutenant Philip Douglas Earle, born 1877; passed out from the Royal Military College, June 1897, and was commissioned Second Lieutenant 1st Battalion Lincolnshire Regiment, in September of the same year; Lieutenant 1899; resigned commission 14.11.1906. His no clasp Khedive´´s Sudan award is unique to an officer of the Lincolnshire Regiment.
