R.N.), generally good very fine (4) Estimate £ 320-360 277847 Stoker William Green, born Brighton, Sussex, 1875; joined the Royal Navy as Stoker 2nd Class, 1894; served in H.M.S. Orlando, 16.2.1899-25.7.1902; served during the Great War with the Collingwood Battalion Royal Naval Division, from 17.9.1914; Green was taken prisoner of war later that year and interned at Doeberitz Camp, West of Berlin, Germany.
