Oakleaf, with group photograph of the recipient and his Squadron, Royal Air Force Service and Release Book, Accounts Record Card (8) Estimate £ 180-220 Lieutenant Graham Harry Fozzard, born 1895; a native of Telford, Essex; served during the Great War with the Royal Flying Corps, remustered into the Royal Air Force 1.4.1918; posted 27 (The Flying Elephants) Squadron (D.H. 4´´s), Villers Brettoneux, France, 3.3.1918; flew as Observer in D.H. 4 B.2133 (piloted by Lieutenant E.L. Raworth) on a bombing sortie, 1.7.1918, when they were attacked by six German Fokkers over Tournai, Fozzard as observer/gunner shot down one Fokker DV11; Lieutenant and Observer 22.11.1918 967432 Flight Sergeant N.B.G. Hopefull, born Leyton, East London; served with the Royal Air Force for the duration of the Second World War notably in the Middle East 13.1.1941-16.1.1943.
