R.N.), generally good very fine (3) Estimate £ 750-850 Paymaster-in-Chief Ralph Balson Marwood served in H.M.S. Active and H.M.S. Highflyer off the coast of Africa, before being promoted to Paymaster-in-Chief 1.12.1911; he served in that capacity at H.M.S. Pembroke (Royal Naval Barracks, Chatham) from 1911, throughout the Great War. Approximately 65 ´´1877-8´´ clasps to H.M.S. Active.
