U.S.A., Dime, capped bust, 1836, pleasing, very fine; another, Liberty seated, 1889, good fine; another, Liberty head, 1909, very fine; Five-Cents, 1909, fine; together with France, Louis XIII, 10-Sols, 1643 (KM132-1) and Spain, Carlos III, Half-Real, Mexico, 1765 (KM 68) good fine (6) Estimate £ 100-150 The latter two coins both circulated in Southern areas of the modern United States until into the nineteenth century. Some of these coins are thought to have been brought back from a visit to the USA by an ancester of the vendor.
