Stamp Boxes and Related Items English Silver Boxes 1913 London, a superb three piece travelling desk set by Aspreys, comprising writing compendium of tall rectangular plain design, with each side hinged opening out flat to reveal two stamp compartments at left and right, vesta compartment at front and sealing wax at back, the base with removable miniature taper stick and two hinged recepticals for pens, also, cubed design clock, barometer, compass, thermometer and perpetual calendar with each item set into one of the five visible sides with handle at top and large letter rack, each piece with applied gold initials "w.b.l." and dated "1915"; a very fine and extremely rare set of superb quality.
