Great Britain Line-Engraved Issues 1840 One Penny Black Plate 1a LK, a greyish black impression showing distinct plate wear, margins all round (mostly very large), on clean entire letter from Wrexham to Oswestry tied by fine light strike of the red Maltese Cross, the reverse with very fine Wrexham despatch d.s. of 30 May 1840; fine and very attractive.
