British Guiana Covers and Cancellations Incoming and Transit Mail 1873 (18 Oct.) envelope (opened-out and a few small faults) from Martinique to Demerara, rated "4" over-cancelled with a fine strike of the unframed "5d" h.s. (Proud A12), the reverse with despatch and arrival c.d.s. (23.10). The sole example of this handstamp recorded and used to show the charge to be collected from the addressee on unpaid letters.
