British Guiana Covers and Cancellations Incoming and Transit Mail 1855 (16 Mar.) entire letter from England to Surinam sent care of the Post Office at Demerara, bearing 1847-54 6d. dull lilac neatly cancelled with Sheffield "700" sideways duplex, showing manuscript "3c" and with light Paramaribo c.d.s. alongside, the reverse with despatch and Demerara double-arc d.s.
