British Guiana Covers and Cancellations Inland Mail 1853 (2 Apr.) part entire (heavily water-damaged and repaired) from Demerara, bearing 1852 (1 Jan.) surface-coloured paper 4c. black on deep blue Type A, large margins all round, neatly cancelled with Demerara double-arc d.s. with a further strike of the datestamp on reverse; the adhesive with the some surface rubbing, otherwise sound.
