x Malta Great Britain Used in Malta Cancelled "A25" 1869 (10 Aug.) entire letter to New York "Via Marseilles", bearing 1864-79 1d. red horizontal pair, Pl. 125, 1855 2d. blue, 1867-73 3d. rose, Pl. 5 and 1865-73 4d. vermilion, Pl. 11, tied by fine strikes of "A25" duplex cancels, with firm´s handstamp at lower left and handstamped "2/cents" in red on arrival; small tear at top centre, and water stain at top right, otherwise an attractive four colour franking.
