Great Britain Line-Engraved Issues 1840 One Penny Black Plate 1b ML, just clear to enormous margins, on very neat clean entire from Dunfermline to Fife then re-addressed to Forres, tied by fine red Maltese Cross, showing superb strikes of the framed "aberdour/8 au/1840" and handstruck "1" in red with ink manuscript "Prepaid at Aberdour" adjacent; a very fine and extremely attractive exhibition cover.
