Great Britain Postal History 1906 (30 Jan.) a very rare envelope from the Faroe Islands to Copenhagen, bearing Denmark 10ore pair tied by very fine "trangisvarg" c.d.s´s and showing superb light strike of the very rare framed "ship letter/troon" at left; fine and extremely attractive. Robertson recorded only one other example of mail from the Faroes (Thorshavn) with this marking - this example from the small port of Trangisvaag being probably unique. Photo Estimate £ 700-800
