Great Britain Postal History 1851 (16 May) entire letter from Coventry to New York, bearing 1841 1d. unplated, LH, margins all round, tied by light "223" numeral and showing fine to superb strikes of the "24" and "19/CENTS" charge handstamps in black adjacent, inscribed "To be forwarded by first steam ship" in manuscript; the adhesive with crease though still most attractive.
