Sudan Covers and Cancellations 1897-1975 collection (55), including 1897 (2) from Halfa to Alexandria each bearing 1897 5m., 1898 ex the Sandbach correspondence from London to Wadi Halfa, 1899 to England franked at 1p. and charged 5d. due, various airmail frankings with one bearing "SG" perfin as part of the franking and unaccepted as postage, 1948 from Gold Coast to Wad Medani with censor labels as the result of the 1st. Arab-Israeli War and with 4m. applied in lieu of postage due, 1952 from G.B. by airmail franked at 9d., various Official covers with one bearing "AS" perfin 5m., etc. An interesting group Estimate £ 120-150
