A Deputy Lieutenant´s uniform A fine scarlet Full Dress tunic by WILLIAM ANDERSON & SONS, EDINBURGH, of the 1920 Pattern, with blue collar and cuffs, and trimmed with silver Thistle pattern lace, KC buttons and twisted silver shoulder-cords bearing gold-embroidered thistles, the tailor´s label inscribed MAJOR T.A. HARVIE ANDERSON..5 MAY 1933; companion trousers with 1 3/4in. scarlet cloth stripes; an extremely good cocked hat with regulation black velvet loop and double row of silver cord, with its drooping feather plume; a silver-laced waist-belt, the rectangular clasp mounted with a thistle within a thistle wreath, complete with sword-slings, and a good double-breasted blue greatcoat with six buttons in each row; all in a metal trunk with owner´s name as above (lot) See illustration Estimate £ 200-300
