R.A.F.), extremely fine, the Mohmand clasp rare to R.A.F., together with the recipient´s Royal Air Force Service and Release Book and Air Council Enclosure for the Defence and War Medals (2) Estimate £ 550-650 362219 Flight Sergeant Clifford Harvey Tibbles, born 12.12.1904; enlisted in the Royal Air Force 10.9.1921; served in Egypt, 1926-32; and India, 1932-38; served during the Second War and is entitled to the Defence and War Medals; released 5.2.1947. His recommendation for employment reads: ´Warrant Officer Tibbles has completed 24 years´ Technical Service in the R.A.F. He served 3 years as an apprentice in the R.A.F. followed by 10 years overhaul, maintenance, and flight servicing small types of aero engines. During the last 12 years he has, as an N.C.O., supervised all types of work in the R.A.F. which includes major overhauls, all forms of flight servicing, test bench, 4 years of which were spent as chief examiner A.I.D.
