Jamaica 1917 War Stamps 3d. purple on yellow mint marginal block of twenty-four comprising the lower four rows of the pane with margins on three sides and showing plate number "1", variety overprint inverted, also with one ´Crown CA´ unit of the watermark in the fourth row of the interpanneau margin inverted, mounted on two stamps only; the purple colour slightly suffused and thinned in the selvedge at foot, otherwise a fine and rare positional block of the variety.
