George III, Soho Coinage, 1805-1806, (Proof) Farthing in silver, 1806, laureate and draped bust right, rev. crowned harp, date below, edge engrailed (DF.606; c.f. S.6622), an impaired proof, pierced, fine, very rare Estimate £ 80-150 Proof silver farthings occur with both engrailed and plain edges. It is thought that the engrailed edge indicates an original issue.
