Henry VIII, sixth harp issue, 1546-1547, Sixpenny Groat, 2.56g., arms of England over long cross, legend reading henric8, rev. harp, crowned, initials h and r, crowned either side, legend omitting regnal year (DF.211; S.6484A), usual debased appearance, slight edge crack at two o´clock, fine, rare Estimate £ 150-180 These coins were struck in Bristol under the direction of William Sharrington. This type was issued in the months immediately after Henry VIII´s death in January 1547.
