x CANADA The Large Queen Issue Five Cents Olive-Green Montreal Printings, Perforated 11 1/2x12 Covers 1875 (6 Nov.) yellow envelope registered from Leamington, Ont. to Amherstburg, Ont., bearing 5c. perf. 11.6x11.93 cancelled with circular cork of arrows and showing two "registered" h.s. alongside despatch c.d.s., and boxed "registered/c.s.r" h.s. of the Canadian Southern Railway, two further strikes of the boxed registration h.s. and arrival c.d.s. (8.11) on reverse. A rare domestic registered letter franking in the short period when postage prepayment became compulsory on 1 October and the issue of registration stamp on 15 November.
