x CANADA The Large Queen Issue Three Cents Red-brown/Brown-red Ottawa Printings, Perforated 12 Covers 1870 (5 Jan.) yellow envelope from St. Hyacinthe, C.E. to Key West, Florida, bearing 3c. brown-red in combination with 1c. yellow-orange strip of three thrice cancelled with "52" two-ring target and showing despatch c.d.s. at lower left and manuscript "Due 6c" in red crayon, Montreal transit c.d.s. (5.1) on reverse. A most attractive 6c. franking showing a difference of opinion on the weight between the Canadian and U.S. postal authorities.
