Four: Sergeant H. Coventon, Royal Artillery British War and Victory Medals (2065 Sjt. H. Coventon. R.A.); Territorial Force War Medal (83 Sjt. H. Coventon. R.A.); Territorial Force Efficiency Medal, E.VII.R. (83 Sjt: H. Coventon. 3/Wessex Bde: R.F.A), extremely fine (4) Estimate £ 260-280 2065 Sergeant Harry Coventon, born Lympstone, Devon, he was a long serving member of the 3rd (Wessex) Bde. Royal Field Artillery, Territorial Army before the war, having the service number 37 and being in possession of the Efficiency Medal. He was serving in France with the 12th Division Ammunition Column and was killed in the flanking operations to the Arras offensive [12.6.1917], being buried in Bunyans Cemetery, Tilloy Les Mofflaines.´ (Leaving All That Was Dear, refers). Coventon´s service number whilst with the T.A. given in the entry is at variance with those upon the medals, however there is no question that these are his medals and he is the recipient mentioned above as his M.I.C. gives his correct number of ´83´.
