National Fire Brigade Union Long Service Silver Medal, with ´Twenty Years´ top riband bar, and additional ´Five Years´ bar, edge engraved ´Saml. Broom 121 1882-1907´, the reverse engraved ´Long Service in the Cheltenham Fire Brigade´, 40mm, silver (Hallmarks for Birmingham 1901), nearly extremely fine, in case of issue with named enclosure, together with Volunteer Long Service & G.C., V.R., unnamed as issued planchet only, otherwise good fine (2) Estimate £ 40-50 Samuel Broom (1855-1922), a plumber by trade, was a Fireman in the Cheltenham Brigade for 35 years, 1882-1917.
