Celtic, early uninscribed coinage (mid-late 1st century B.C.), 1/4 Stater, 1.38g., trophy type, small four petalled flower, rev. "trophy" design with many ornaments (BMC.436; S.- (cf.47, with blank obverse); VA.146-1 var.), good very fine, very rare Estimate £ 500-600 This design with a small flower on the obverse is extremely rare. It is believed to be one of only a very specimens known. There is one example in the British Museum.
