F Fyans" at Geelong, rated "1/3" (deleted) and "1/4" (on reverse) and showing large part light "melbourne/new s. wales" oval d.s., the contents include "I was very sorry to hear of your loss by that rascal. The Bushrangers are complete masters of this side of the country", 1845 (12 Mar.) entire letter from Melbourne to Launceston, rated "3" in red and "4" and showing, on reverse, a good strike of "ship letter/melbourne" oval d.s. in red, the face panel with a few small faults otherwise fine, and 1847 (22 Oct.) entire letter (stained and reconstructed) from The Grange to Bunnenyong, rated "10" in black and "10d post paid" in red and showing, on reverse, "the grange/port phillip", "fiery creek/port phillip" and poor "bunnenyong/port phillip" oval datestamps; 1849 (23 Nov.) entire letter from The Grange to Belfast, rated "10", showing legible framed "the grange/post paid" in red with, on reverse, poor "the grange/port phillip" oval datestamp
