x Newfoundland Airmail Covers 1919 (June) 2c. card written and signed by Admiral Sir Mark Kerr (flight leader) to England, unusually not bearing the $1 on 15c. adhesive and with the stationery impression cancelled with small part obliterator and showing oval-framed "atlantic aerial post/handley page" datestamp for 7 July alongside; small crease in lower left corner. Also 1927 envelope from London to Wathamstow, underfranked at 1/2d. and with 2d. Postage Due applied on arrival, marked "Carried by Marquis de Pinedo´s aeroplane from Azores to Rome" and containing a facsimile of de Pinedo´s signature. Photo Estimate £ 400-500
