(A.R.), cancellations comprise Type R29 (3, one seventeen days earlier than recorded) with one showing manuscript A.R. notation and two with large "commissioner of prisons/singapore" circular cachet in violet, and North Canal Road (2) with unframed "a.r" (Type AR1 - thirteen years later than recorded); also malacca: 1949 envelopes (9, one a 20c. registered) registered to the Camp, all franked at 30c. and showing cancellations of Malacca (2) and Asahan (7).
