South West Africa South Africa used in S.W.A. 1916 (26 Dec.) envelope to Switzerland, bearing 1d. rose-red (6, one damaged and one crossed by vertical crease) all tied by Windhoek oval d.s., showing Censor cachet and part bi-lingual Censor label at top; 1917 (Oct.) envelope registered to Swakopmund, bearing 1d. rose-red and 4d. orange-yellow and olive-green (2), all tied by Omaruru double-ring d.s., showing temporary registration marking and bi-lingual Censor label at top partly obscuring the adhesives with, on reverse, despatch, Karibib and arrival d.s.
