Great Britain Postal History England, Scotland & Wales 1870 (25 Jan.) petite pink ladies´ envelope to the U.S.A., bearing 1858-76 2d. plate 13, DA, tied by very fine "108" duplex of Dumfries (the c.d.s. portion ´twisted´ to the left) with superb black "insufficiently/prepaid" alongside, manuscript "8c" (U.S.A. delivery charge) and "8" (British Post Office refund due charge); adhesive with small closed tear at right though in no way detracting from the wonderful appearance.
