Great Britain Postal History England, Scotland & Wales 1855-99 (c.), the selection of Surface-Printed issues used on cover, twelve entires or cards and eighteen stamps (several on piece), including 1855-57 6d. (two very fine examples on separate entires), 1865-67 4d. and 1864 1d. plate 188 on envelope registered from Oxford to London tied by good strikes of the ´613´ duplex error, also a piece bearing 1867-80 9d. & 1864 1d. plate strip of three, and 1872-73 6d. off-piece, both with fine strikes of the ´613´ error, 1896 and 1899 envelopes with 1d. frankings showing multiple instructional/datestamp types of Birmingham, off-cover with 1855-57 1/- pair showing very fine Manchester ´498´ roller cancellation, etc.; a mostly fine, attractive and unusual group Estimate £ 400-500
