Great Britain Postal History England, Scotland & Wales 1853, 1856 and 1857 envelopes from York bearing 1d. adhesives, showing very fine strikes of the oval-framed "R.W" in red, green and black respectively (the example in black with additional strike which ties the adhesive), also 1d. on piece dated 1856 which shows the strike in blue; some faults though not detracting from the wonderful appearance of this rare and colourful ´set´ and which presents perfectly for display Estimate £ 250-300
