Great Britain Postal History England, Scotland & Wales 1840-44, a most attractive selection of nine entires with Uniform Penny Post markings, including "bury/1/paid", "paid at/stratford", "paid/1" (Ipswich, the cover showing Halesworth double-arc. d.s. with manuscript "Missent to" alongside), "p1" or "pd 1" (Basingstoke, Brighton, Warwick), oval "paid/one/penny" (West Bromwich), the 1844 envelope with small framed "p 1d 1" of Launceston; the strikes very fine to superb, the covers mostly clean and fine.
