Great Britain Cancellations Numerals - Blue 1841 2d. plate 3, AI-AJ pair, margins nearly all round (AI touched at one place), on entire letter from Castle Douglas to Edinburgh dated 4 July 1846, tied by fine light strikes of the blue Scottish numeral cancellation, the reverse with corresponding dispatch d.s. in the same colour; AI with trace of fault at left, AJ with crease, nevertheless an attractive and rare item.
