Great Britain Line-Engraved Issues 1841 Two Pence Blue Plate 4 The used selection, comprising 16 stamps and five entires, including off-cover examples with two strips of three showing poor plate alignment, single and strip of three with much misplaced watermarks, single with watermark inverted, pair with numeral cancellation in blue; entires with 1852 entire registered from Knutsford to Macclesfield bearing strip of three and 1841 1d., 1854 entire from London to Kendal bearing single and 1841 1d., 1854 entire and 1855 piece bearing singles tied by fine or superb strikes of ´Spoon´ cancellations (Manchester and Liverpool respectively), mostly with margins all round; condition a little mixed though a number of fine and attractive items are present.
