Great Britain Postal History England, Scotland & Wales 1556 a miniature entire letter, measuring 11/2 x 11/2 ins., addressed to "John Horsmonden of Gouders yn the shyr of Kynte be thys dd with spede, Sythe Smyth", the letter content refers to an order for scythes and a payment of twenty pounds; a fine, very rare and extremely attractive item.
